Who else thinks it's ridiculous that the newer editions of the Lord of the rings books more like the movies?

-the newest editions are being modified to fit the movies! that means they're taking out parts like Tom Bombadil and the Scouring of the Shire.. and they even kill off aragorn in the Two Towers and have him revived by Arwen from across Middle-Earth... and a lot of other really important things! It's stupid to mess with such a great piece of literature.
