Is eating 1000 calories per day ok?

Im loosing weight, so Im reducing the amount of calories I eat per day. I usually eat like 1500 calories per day, so Im cutting to 1000. Its basically two meals a day, Brunch and supper, so I dont actually skip meals. I stopped snacking too. I dont want to eat too little either, so I just wanna know if 1000 is not too little. Please, dont tell me Im half-anorexic or anything, Im a guy who weighs 185 lbs. because thats my metabolism. Im 15 yrs old.
